Scholars' Bowl Coming to a Close
Friday December 8, the Belle Plaine Scholars’ Bowl team rushed off to Garden Plain to compete in one of their many competitions. Though the Scholars’ Bowl team didn’t necessarily “blow away” the competition that night, they made sure to concentrate on the more important aspect of having fun. So far this year, the Belle Plaine team has blasted through competitiors, making it into the final rounds of every competition it has entered.
However, with only two meets left this year, competitors will be more aggressive than ever. Regardless, the Belle Plaine Scholars’ Bowl team remains confident. Junior Kyle Rosenkrance told the Dragon: “Although we like to concentrate on winning, we are more concerned with having fun and enjoying ourselves.” Certainly a team with that mentality can succeed at anything they attempt.
